# What is Natural Language Generation (NLG)?

Natural Language Generation (NLG) is a subfield of natural language processing (NLP) that focuses on the automatic generation of human-like language from structured data or other forms of input. In essence, NLG enables machines to write or generate text in a way that resembles how humans would express information.
